Here are five natural recipes using egg, olive oil, oats, tea bags, and ice cubes for a rosy, radiant complexion. All in under 30 minutes.
With these beauty secrets, 30 minutes will be enough to restore a radiant glow. As for products, you can simply raid your kitchen.
Step 1: Gentle exfoliation for a clear complexion – 5 minutes
Do you have rolled oats? Pour 3 tablespoons into a bowl. Add 1/4 liter (about 1 cup) of milk for dry skin or water for oily skin. Let the oats absorb the liquid. When the mixture thickens, apply to the face. Leave on for 5 minutes, then very lightly massage the skin in small circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Rinse with warm water.
If you don’t have rolled oats, simply use finely granulated sugar or, better yet, baking soda. Caution: don’t rub!
Moisten the sugar or powder to achieve a paste-like consistency and, as with the oats mixture, apply with very light massaging. Do not rub or you’ll end up flushing red.
Rinse with cold water.
Step 2: Hair mask – 15 minutes
In a bowl, mix one egg yolk, one tablespoon of olive oil, and one tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply to dry hair. Wrap the hair in a towel. Leave on for 10 minutes. Then rinse well with fairly warm water and proceed to shampooing.
Step 3: Radiance-boosting mask – 20 minutes
In a bowl, beat 1 egg white to stiff peaks. Mix with a small teaspoon of lemon. If you have dry skin, you can add 2 teaspoons of liquid honey. Apply this mask to the face and neck, avoiding the eye contour, and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
Step 4: Under-eye puffiness-fighting compresses – 5 minutes
It’s tea time! Place two used tea bags in the refrigerator, then use them as eye compresses. Leave on for a minimum of 5 minutes. The best is to combine the egg white mask and the eye compresses.
Step 5: Ice cube for a rosy glow – 1 minute
Nothing beats cold for tightening pores and boosting blood circulation. A healthy-looking glow guaranteed! Take an ice cube wrapped in paper towel to avoid irritating the skin. Apply in circular motions over the face, avoiding the eye area, as well as the neck and décolleté. Now simply apply a day cream and makeup.
Do this right before applying makeup—the skin is smoother and makeup lasts longer.
Happy holidays to everyone.
